As the leading provider of Robotics Education in the United States, we teach children about S.T.E.A.M.(Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) related topics through robotics in a very unique way. We offer multiple levels of hands-on robotics after school enrichment programs that build upon each other. We do not use prepackaged toy kits. We have developed our own proven hands-on curricula, designed to be both fun and educational. Enhance your students’ knowledge in subjects that are critical for the Standards of Learning tests.

Learn about robotics from those that builds robots! This is the perfect way to introduce you child to the growing field of robotics. Through interaction with robots, kids will learn about what makes one robot different from another, how different terrain can affect robots and how well they move. Hands-on activities will breakdown different parts that make robots move in a simple way that will allow everyone to understand and learn how these different parts work. These activities also build on the confidence and imagination of every child as an individual and as a group with their classmates. Hope to see you there!

In this course kids will continue to have fun learning and go more in depth in the world of robotics. We will venture on a journey that will teach students about the challenges of controlling robots, learn about voltage and how to measure it, build a vibrating bug robot in groups and much more. They will participate in activities that will bring out the inner robot engineer in everyone!

Get ready to build! In the 3rd level of this course kids will be focusing on the building of an animal robot. Kids will be put to the test as they build and put their robots together in teams of two because two heads are better than one! They will get to learn about the robot that they will be working on that way everyone has a solid understanding of what the robot will do and look like when it is completed. Through out the course kids will be working on ans assembling parts that at the end will all come together.

Students will begin by dissecting a robot to identify critical parts and move into hands-on examples of understanding the pieces that go into robot’s circuits, what you can put on a robot to make it intelligent and be shown short cuts and insider secrets to programming your robot. The class will culminate with the famous Robot Jeopardy™ competition, a group game that challenges the child’s mind to call on their memory and imagination to win.

The application of what was learned in Robotics Engr. 101 begins here in the 2nd of 4 levels to complete their Robotic Engineer’s certificate. In this course, children will be introduced to the Electrical Engineering side of robotics through hands-on building, testing and competing. This course will further cover electrical concepts, electrical components, electrical circuits and key math formulas needed in robotics. Students will construct circuits in class as well as be introduced to engineering tools. In this class each student will build a robot and compete against fellow classmates in the final day’s robot competition.

The content becomes more advanced, incorporating subject matter from Standards of Learning tests and applying it through the various levels.
